What will I learn?
Delegates will learn how to embed the 14 values of GIRFEC into their setting’s practice. The course will cover the eight key principles of SHANARRI and the My World Triangle.
The session will also highlight the importance of understanding the role of the Named Person and the requirements of the Children & Young People’s Act 2014.

- The purpose of GIRFEC and its key principles
- Childcare practitioners’ responsibilities
- When to use GIRFEC in your setting
- Current National Guidance.

Prices are based on up to 16 delegates (we recommend 10 as a minimum). A small extra charge applies for extra delegates. You will receive a certificate of attendance to demonstrate your ongoing professional development.
