Boost your team’s confidence and skills in maths, literacy and SEND provision with NDNA’s award-winning Champions programmes. Hear from existing Maths, Literacy and SEND Champions and find out how the projects benefited their settings.  Each programme offers a range of support from our early years experts, training and resources. Each programme is initially for 12 months with the option to extend.

Maths Champions

Maths Champions supports children and staff by embedding maths into play and activities.

Led by a designated graduate member of staff in your setting, its aim is to build confidence in maths among children and practitioners.

Literacy Champions

The Literacy Champions Programme improves literacy outcomes for children and supports practitioners in developing their own literacy skills and confidence in order to provide high quality, literacy-rich experiences for all children.

Led by a designated graduate member of staff in your setting, its aim is to build confidence in literacy among children and practitioners.

Note: this programme is relevant for England-only settings.

SEND Champions

NDNA recognises the challenges settings sometimes face with supporting Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) holistically.

This programme aims to support practitioners to improve provision for children with SEND.
