What will I learn?
This short course will provide an overview of the Education Inspection Framework and look at one of the inspection areas: quality of education.

The course will support your understanding of this area and share practical ideas to ensure a cohesive shared approach to embedding quality of education across your provision.

Through a range of activities the course will introduce the key aspects of the Ofsted Inspection Framework and key elements of the quality of education judgement. You will understand what Ofsted mean by ‘curriculum’ and ‘cultural capital’.

The course will also give you the framework to create your own Quality of Education Vision statement, involving your whole team in the process.

  • The quality of education and where this sits within the inspection framework
  • Key elements of the quality of education judgement
  • What Ofsted mean by ‘curriculum’ and ‘cultural capital’ 
  • How to demonstrate your evidence against the ‘3 I’s’ of intent, implementation and impact
  • Reflecting on your own practice
  • A template to create a Quality of Vision statement.
