These fabulous resources will save you time while digesting a new inspection framework. They are flexible enough to use them however it helps you most. Every part of the resource pack has been updated in line with the updated QIF released September 2025.
The overview gives you a snapshot of the whole QIF and introduces our numbering system and colour coding that organises the important areas, quality indicators (QI) and themes.
The challenge question cards are designed to be used in many ways. They can be used in staff meetings, on wall displays, in floorbooks etc. It’s a great resource for all staff to use and contribute to the improvement of your nursery. These are new for September 2025.
The self-evaluation document is designed for you to fill in once you’ve utilised you challenge questions cards and can summarise the evidence.
Lastly, the QIF linking document is designed to help you situate the QIF in the context of guidance and documents that you use on a day-to-day basis.
