At NDNA, we launched the #Firstfiveyearscount campaign to celebrate the early years sector and all they do to make the first five years of a child’s life count. Part of our campaign is to boost the positive feedback the workforce receives about their work.
Here at NDNA we know the early years workforce are incredible, a message we shout loud and proud about daily. We want to offer parents/carers the opportunity to shout loud and proud too.
The NDNA Super Star is all about celebrating the early years workforce and the incredible impact they have on not just children, but families and communities as a whole.
Parents/Carers
We want you to give your nursery an NDNA Super Star with a positive message telling them how much you value them, what they do that makes your child happy and how they have had a positive impact on your lives.
Don’t forget to take a photo and use the upload link so NDNA can see your message too. We will use these messages to lobby government and policy makers, in support of our vision for all children and families to flourish through high quality early childhood education and care.
NDNA’s mission is to lead and empower the sector so that nurseries and the early years workforce deliver sustainable, high quality early childhood education and care. With your message, we are one step closer to achieving our mission.

Upload your Super Star
Nurseries
We want you to share the template with your families and ask them to return their Super Stars with their positive message. Once returned, display your Super Stars for all to see. Create beautiful displays for parents/carers and your workforce to see and be proud that they are part of your nursery.
Parents will use your Super Stars to tell you:
- How much families value you and your nursery
- What you do that makes their child happy
- How you positively impact their lives
By displaying your Super Stars, the nursery workforce have a visual reminder of the amazing impact they are having, not just on the children within the nursery, but the families and communities they are part of.
