Effective practice for children 0-3 years

The early years play a significant role in childhood as well as in shaping our futures. To ensure that children aged 0 to 3 years have the best possible start in life, the Welsh Government have developed a suite of Early Childhood Play, Learning and Care (ECPLC) resources for childcare and play settings.

In this face-to-face event NDNA Cymru will be joined by Welsh Government Early Years colleagues to:
o Explore the guidance documents available
o Reflect on current practice and provision
o Consider how the guidance documents can support improvement of practice and provision for children aged 0-3 years
o Understand how the guidance documents dovetail in with other policy areas. E.g. Flying Start, Early education and Speech, Language and Communication
o Share effective practice from childcare providers

All attendees will also receive supporting resources and publications.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

*N.B. Due to limited number of spaces, there is a 2-person limit per setting.
