Cultural diversity within Early Years (Wales)

The aim of this webinar is to provide the opportunity to discuss cultural diversity in relation to early years practice and introduce some culturally diverse resources.

You will have the opportunity to explore how racism affects everybody within society and receive guidance on how to respond to children's questions about race. In addition you will develop your skills to select appropriate children’s books on the topic of race and have a better understanding of tokenism within representation in relation to visual displays.

By the end of the webinar you should feel more confident when talking about race with young children and their parents and have more ideas on how to develop/expand your range of resources.
