NDNATalk: Food Allergy Awareness and Support
In this session, Tanya Ednan-Laperouse OBE and Jan Parnell from The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation will share expert advice on managing allergies in early years settings, covering practical strategies for prevention, emergency response, staff training and awareness, handling unknown allergies and accessing free support for nurseries.
The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation will demonstrate how resources from their free allergy schools programme can be used in settings. These resources are suitable for use in nurseries and include their self-assessment, which is currently in revision and acts as a checklist for being ready to respond to allergies, especially unknown allergies.
