Description
Implementation of the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 (‘the act’) was on 1 April 2025, with a
grace period of three months. Nurseries are expected to be fully compliant with the Act by 1
July 2025. We have worked closely with Disclosure Scotland and members to understand the
requirements of the Act that will most impact on nurseries.
