Standard nursery inspection package includes:
This support package visit covers all areas of provision reviewed in line with the Early Years Inspection Framework.
- Pre-visit review of the setting’s online presence, e.g. website, reviews, reports, etc.
- Review of evaluation areas against statutory requirements
- Opportunities for leaders and staff to demonstrate confidence in describing key aspects of practice, e.g. curriculum progression, reducing barriers to inclusion
- Overview of setting culture, such as staff well-being, safeguarding and parental engagement
- Optional templates, e.g. inspection confidence checklist, staff survey.
- Leaders will contribute to the development of a quality improvement plan during the visit, identifying strengths and focusing on recommendations for future development.

- We also provide bespoke visits for providers that want to focus on a specific area of their practice. This may be beneficial for settings who have experienced recent change (such as opening a new room, delivering a new curriculum or turnover of key staff) or can support settings who have received inspection feedback which has highlighted a particular area for further improvement.
