Why do I need an absence management procedure for my nursery?
This procedure template establishes a framework to support nursery staff and the nursery in times of sickness absence. It ensures that appropriate and consistent advice is provided. The procedure describes the assistance and support that is offered to nursery employees and, where necessary, what action is taken.
It covers short term, persistent sickness absence and long term sickness absence procedures, SSP, bereavement leave and more.
