Nursery World award winners

Congratulations to Nursery World award winners

Many NDNA members were honoured at the annual Nursery World awards at the Brewery in London on Saturday 27 September.

NDNA’s first chair of trustees Margaret Mason, founder of Children 1st nurseries, was given a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Nursery of the Year was Childsplay Claremont Nursery Cooperative in Newcastle upon Tyne – they won NDNA’s Community Support and Charity Fundraising Award this year too.

NDNA’s Cara Brundle, Director of Business Development, attended the awards ceremony and caught up with many members during the evening.

Cara said: “What a fantastic night. Huge congratulations to all the finalists and winners from across the sector. It’s always lovely to celebrate all your achievements.

“We were also delighted that NDNA’s first chair of trustees Margaret Mason won a Lifetime Achievement Award. Margaret was a very deserving winner, she spoke straight from the heart on Saturday night and we are all very proud of her.

“Well done to all the winners, your passion and commitment make a difference to the lives of children and families every day.”

Whether you were one of the lucky winners, were shortlisted or wishing you had applied, please remember that NDNA’s Awards 2026 are still open to applicants, with a deadline of 5th December 2025.
