NDNA Nursery Awards 2024

The NDNA nursery awards are back for 2024!

NDNA is pleased to announce the launch of the 2024 NDNA Awards which are now open for entries to nurseries and NDNA networks across the UK.

Next year, 2024 will mark NDNA’s 25th anniversary as a charity and so to celebrate we are launching two new award categories to enter. The ‘Learning Through Play’ award will return with a new theme, ‘Outstanding Baby Room Practitioner’ and brand new for 2024 is NDNA’s ‘Excellence in Additional Needs’ award. The winners of these awards will be voted for by an esteemed panel of judges who will be looking for highly skilled practitioners and quality environments within settings that excel in these areas.

Popular awards returning for 2024 include Practitioner of the Year, Manager of the Year, Outstanding Contribution and Network of the Year. The prestigious Nursery of the Year awards for Scotland, Wales, and North, Central and South of England are also returning.

Purnima Tanuku OBE, Chief Executive of NDNA said: “As we look forward to celebrating 25 years of NDNA it gives me great pleasure to launch the 2024 Awards.

“The reason our awards are so successful is because of the dedication, support and care that early years settings provide to our youngest children.  Despite the constant pressures and challenges they face within the sector, they continue to deliver high quality practice and education and this is our opportunity to celebrate them.

“These awards are dedicated to the professionalism and hard work of practitioners and give settings the opportunity to showcase their success and promote their skilled practitioners and high-quality settings that are valued by many.

“We’re delighted to be introducing new award categories and are looking forward to bringing members and sector experts together to celebrate the sector’s achievements.”

The 2024 NDNA Award winners will be revealed during a glitzy ceremony at the Coventry Building Society Arena on the 7 June. A fantastic evening is promised commencing with a drinks reception and a three-course dinner, followed by the awards ceremony and of course, the opportunity to party and celebrate.

Entries and voting close on 31 January 2024.
