The EYFS is part of the Government’s wider scheme, laid out in the Children’s Plan and Every Child Matters, to give all children the best possible start in life. All nurseries registered in England are inspected by Ofsted against the EYFS.
The EYFS means that each individual child is learning through high quality play that’s tailored to them.
